By using AppTester.co, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to both builders (app developers submitting apps for testing) and testers (individuals completing test jobs).
You must be at least 18 years old to use AppTester.co. By using the platform you represent that you are 18 or older. If you are using the platform on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these terms.
As a builder submitting apps for testing, you agree to: — Upload only apps that you own or have rights to test — Not submit apps that contain malware, spyware, or any code designed to harm testers' devices — Not submit apps that violate applicable laws or App Store / Google Play policies — Provide accurate information about your app and testing requirements — Pay the applicable fee before testing begins Submissions that violate these terms will result in immediate removal and may result in account termination without refund.
As a tester completing test jobs, you agree to: — Only accept jobs that match your declared device and expertise — Submit honest, accurate, and reproducible bug reports — Not share app files, builds, or confidential content with third parties — Not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute any app you test — Complete accepted jobs within the stated deadline or release them for reassignment — Maintain the confidentiality of unreleased software
**Builders:** Payment is charged at time of order submission. If a test report is incomplete or fails to meet quality standards, we will assign a replacement tester at no cost. Refunds are issued at our discretion if we are unable to deliver a report. **Testers:** Earnings are credited within 48 hours of approved report submission. Minimum withdrawal amount is $20. AppTester.co charges a 15% platform fee on all tester earnings. We reserve the right to withhold payment for reports that do not meet quality standards.
App files submitted by builders remain the intellectual property of the builder. AppTester.co claims no ownership over submitted apps. Test reports generated on our platform are owned by the builder who commissioned them. Testers retain no rights to apps they test.
Testers agree to keep all app content, source code, and unreleased features confidential. This obligation survives termination of your tester account. Builders agree not to share tester personal information obtained through the platform.
The following are strictly prohibited: — Submitting malicious, harmful, or illegal software — Attempting to access other users' accounts or data — Providing false information in tester applications — Submitting fabricated bug reports — Using the platform to conduct competitive intelligence on other developers' apps — Circumventing the platform to pay testers directly outside AppTester.co
AppTester.co provides a marketplace platform connecting builders and testers. We are not liable for the quality of apps submitted, bugs found or not found, decisions made based on test reports, or any consequential damages. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific test in question.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend accounts for violation of these terms, at our sole discretion. Builders with terminated accounts forfeit any unused test credits. Testers with terminated accounts forfeit any unpaid earnings resulting from violations.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
